Why do you love what you do?
A home purchase is the biggest purchase of a person’s life. To be able to guide someone through that process is an absolute honor. Additionally, being there for my clients as they transition to new chapters in their lives is exciting and incredibly rewarding!
What hobbies do you have and what do you do for fun?
I love kayaking the local waters, ice skating at Tenney Pond and the Edgewater, and all kinds of travel – planes, trains and automobiles!
What do you like most about living in Wisconsin?
I love how down-to-Earth and “Midwest Nice” Wisconsinites are. Our natural recreation areas are amazing. Also, the excitement for Summer when our long Winters are finally over!
What makes you proud to be a real estate agent?
Having the knowledge to properly guide clients through the biggest purchases of their lives makes me incredibly proud… and grateful.
Give an example of how you helped save a deal as a buyer’s agent that might normally have fallen through.
After an unsatisfactory final walkthrough, I rented a moving truck and emptied out an entire garage full of unwanted items the sellers were refusing to remove.
Give an example of a deal that a buyer was able to get out of because of how you drafted the offer.
I’m blessed to have not been put in this position yet; I’ve never had a buyer back out.
What previous transaction meant a lot to you and why?
A buyer relocating from Southern California purchased a condo for himself and his middle-school-aged son. We had been searching for ten months when we finally closed, and his son cried and hugged me when I handed them the keys. I will never forget that moment.
What are some mistakes to avoid as a home buyer?
Not seeking mortgage rate quotes from more than one lender; applying for new credit or maxing out credit cards between approval and closing; not saving enough, or spending all of your savings.
What are your niche clients?
