Pam LeMire

ABOUT PAM
Pam has been a Stoughton resident for over 20 years & says it has been the best town for raising her family. She’s excited to be based out of Rock Realty’s Stoughton office as she is so familiar with the area. In her free time she likes relaxing by the pool with her kids or reading. Her career has included positions in both sales and management over the years. Although she has previous experience in new construction & commercial properties, her true passion for real estate stemmed from the fact that she has moved 11 different times in & around Stoughton. Pam says that each move was an adventure. She loved the excitement of showing & selling her homes on her own. She also enjoyed experiencing each new home & neighborhood her family moved into. Pam’s approach to sales is to be ‘real’. She hopes to never sound like a car salesman. Her main goal is to find her clients a home that they love & are excited about!

Why do you love what you do?
I absolutely love looking at houses! I don’t care if they are priced at $100,000 or $1,000,000 I am happy to get in my car and drive! I have always loved the saying “if you do what you love it is not work” and I believe I have finally found that.
What hobbies do you have and what do you do for fun?
Pickleball is my favorite hobby. I also volunteer for The American Legion in Stoughton and I love it!
What do you like most about living in Wisconsin?
The seasons. Fall is my favorite but I love snow in December for Christmas and the promise April brings in the spring.
What makes you proud to be a real estate agent?
When I am at a gathering with my husband for his work and someone asks me what I do. Everyone likes to talk about real estate and the market. I feel proud when I can answer their questions. Truthfully, I just love talking about it.
Give an example of how you helped save a deal as a buyer’s agent that might normally have fallen through.
I had a client with an accepted offer without an appraisal contingency. During escrow the client’s relationship broke up and he was now on his own for the house. When the home didn’t appraise at our offer amount my client on his own didn’t think he could make up the difference. We went back to the seller with a lower price and worked out a deal. I was so happy for my client. He needed a fresh start and got one!
Give an example of a deal that a buyer was able to get out of because of how you drafted the offer.
I had a buyer who made an offer on a property without a home sale contingency. When it came down to it they were not able to sell their home and didn’t want to purchase the new property anymore. We got out of the deal because of the finance contingency.
What previous transaction meant a lot to you and why?
There are so many that it is hard to narrow it down to one. After my dad passed away my mom wanted to stay in their home but just couldn’t take care of it on her own. I was able to reach out to my Rock Realty family and one of the other agents had a young couple trying desperately to purchase their first home but kept getting beat out by other offers. We worked out a deal with them and they were so happy! Come to find out the wife was newly pregnant with their first baby!
What are some mistakes to avoid as a home buyer?
If you don’t plan on staying in a new home for a decent amount of time, I think the biggest mistake you can make is paying too much for a home that is not worth it.
