Hello Rock County! I have been a resident of Janesville for over 13 years. I lived in the Quad Cites before that living in both Illinois and Iowa. In 2006 I had the chance to move back to the Quad Cites, I thought about it for about 2 seconds, but Wisconsin is the best place to live I couldn’t leave. I am a big fan of the Midwest way of living! I am very excited to meet some of the great people in Rock County, and to help them in there home buying and selling needs. Why do you love what you do?
I enjoy being able to meet new people and help them make the home buying and selling process as easy and carefree as it can be.
What hobbies do you have and what do you do for fun?
I enjoy traveling to warm and beachy places. I also love sports of all kinds.
What do you like most about living in Wisconsin?
I like Wisconsin for the many lakes and waterways to boat and fish on. I find its also nice to be so close to a big city feel and a small town feel in the matter of a hour or so.
What makes you proud to be a real estate agent?
Being able to help people is what could potentially be a stressful situation but making it stress-free.
Give an example of how you helped save a deal as a buyer’s agent that might normally have fallen through.
I had a FHA deal and at the last minute we found out the seller would not remove and repaint peeling pant around the windows. So along with my buyers we went and did the work and got the deal done.
Give an example of a deal that a buyer was able to get out of because of how you drafted the offer.
In my over ten years of doing this I have never had a client need to get out of an offer to purchase.
What previous transaction meant a lot to you and why?
ALl the transactions are meaningful but helping first time buyers is always a little more meaningful.
What are some mistakes to avoid as a home buyer?
I believe the biggest mistake a buyer can make is not doing your ground work. The ground work is getting to the bank and finding out what your limit is. I tend to tell buyers go to the bank get your approval then look for a house.
