Hello! I am ecstatic to join such a solid team here at Rock Realty and very excited to make the buying and selling experience enjoyable for everybody! A little bit about myself; born and raised in the Madison area and have been here ever since! I am a life long Badger and Packer fan and I enjoy golfing and hunting in the fall as well. After a decade in construction my passion for real estate shined through and I could not be happier that I made the switch. I look forward to helping the wonderful people here in Wisconsin!

Why do you love what you do?
Real estate gives me the opportunity to create relationships with so many different people I never would have gotten the chance to meet. Helping people buy and sell real estate, the right way, has been very fulfilling!
What hobbies do you have and what do you do for fun?
I do as much golfing as my schedule allows. I go to all the badger home football and basketball games as well.
What do you like most about living in Wisconsin?
I love experiencing the 4 seasons. From the northern part of the state, to the south east/ southwest, it seems like a whole different country sometimes.
What makes you proud to be a real estate agent?
The felling I get when I know my services were valuable for my clients. The smiles at closing make it all worth it.
Give an example of how you helped save a deal as a buyer’s agent that might normally have fallen through.
I was working with a va client. We were making an offer on a home that was on the borderline to be VA passable, so we added a specialized clause that the buyer shall perform all necessary work to bring it up to VA code, while the seller paid for the materials. That ended up getting us ahead of the competition. We created a game plan and I assisted in the work needing to be completed so we could proceed to closing!
Give an example of a deal that a buyer was able to get out of because of how you drafted the offer.
It actually came from a standard clause I put in all my offers. When having a home inspection, I have the inspection contingency further contingent for inspection on anything the home inspector finds that may be out of their “specialized knowledge”. There was a possibility of existing knob and tube wiring being active in the home. We had the right to have a qualified electrician come and inspect all the wiring because of the clause I included. Knob and tube was confirmed and we were able to back out of the deal and return the earnest money back to my buyers because of how I had drafted the offer.
What previous transaction meant a lot to you and why?
I had buyers moving from out of state and they were under contract on their home in Minnesota. There was nothing on the market that they were very excited about and time was running short. We saw the perfect property come up. It had a lot of competition on it and we had to get creative to secure the accepted offer. I was able to get them to our preferred lender to write the offer as “cash”, as well as adding a specialized clause for an inspection buffer, so the sellers knew we weren’t going to nickel and dime them on the inspection. The seller selected our offer over the competition because of how I drafted the offer, and the buyers met all of their deadlines with moving into town, in their perfect home!
What are some mistakes to avoid as a home buyer?
Not listening to a good agents advice can really put you in a sea of unknowns. When it comes to offer strategy, price comparison and property analysation, use the experts opinion to help you succeed.
