Get to know Kassidy!
Why do you love what you do?
I love the job flexibility, the connection you make with new people, exploring new homes and the smile on my buyers/sellers face after closing. It’s also great to know that everyone I’ve worked with has been happy to work with me.
What hobbies do you have and what do you do for fun?
Ride four wheelers, fishing, kayaking, spending time with family and friends, bowling, Cornhole/bags.
What do you like most about living in Wisconsin?
It’s a beautiful state, mostly everyone is friendly and there’s a wide variety of things to do.
What makes you proud to be a real estate agent?
Knowing that not everyone could do this job and it’s truly so rewarding to find someone their perfect home or even just their first home.
Give an example of how you helped save a deal as a buyer’s agent that might normally have fallen through.
I had a tenant occupied house that my buyers were buying. They were supposed to be out March 31, we got an accepted offer on April 1 and we’re set to close in May. We were assured that tenants would be out by closing, the seller let them stay a little longer due to the house being in the market for a while. Closing day is four days away and tenants are still in the house and the sellers agent says we’re closing like that. Buyers wanted to back out, but I held my ground with the selling agent and told him we weren’t closing until tenants and their property were our, as we had agreed upon or we would involve lawyers. Buyers didn’t back out of the deal and tenants and their property were or by closing. But we did have to back the closing date backwards.
Give an example of a deal that a buyer was able to get out of because of how you drafted the offer.
I had a VA buyer who backed out of a house after our inspection contingency expired because of a cracked cement patio in the backyard becauSe we had a VA addendum signed. Having an inspection contingency has helped in a lot of deals.
What previous transaction meant a lot to you and why?
All of my transactions with close friends and family mean a lot to me, especially when it’s their first home!
What are some mistakes to avoid as a home buyer?
Being over eager and writing an offer on any house. Not listening to the advise of your agent.
What are your niche clients?
